Crabbing Season at Aboiteau Wharf, NB

These prints are reproductions of various gum-bichromate prints.

Gum-bichromate printing is a 200 year old colour photographic process that utilizes light sensitive dichromate crystal, gum-arabic and watercolours which are exposed to sunlight. Each colour is a new expure and the multiple layers of watercolours give them their distinctive painterly look.

These reproductions are printed using archival quality inks and are printed on watercolour paper. They are matted in an acid free mat to fit a standard 8" x 10" frame. Each print is signed and labeled.
